Sometimes you find an artist whose style just fits. ❤️ Years ago, I discovered the work of illustrator @designed.by.shea Shea O’Connor, and I absolutely loved her vintage, retro style. Then I found out she did custom work—and could take a photograph and turn it into her own version of a vintage illustration. I immediately thought, WOW. I need this for my shop. 😂 Over the years, I’ve commissioned Shea a number of times to create illustrations for me, including artwork I could use for my shop, hang tags, care instructions and more. There’s something really special about taking an actual photograph and seeing it transformed into artwork that looks like it belongs to another era.
