24 Week of Roller Skating - Outdoor Skating Tips!

Week 24 of roller skating 🛼 — outside only! This week I’m doing something a little different. I’m holding the camera and actually talking while I skate. 😂 After skating outdoors for a while, I’ve picked up a few simple things that make navigating the pavement a little easier. One: keep as many wheels on the ground as possible. That way, when you hit a tiny rock, crack, stick, or even a bigger branch, you’re already in a more stable position to handle it. Two: when you have to roll over something that’s harder to get across, stagger your feet—one in front of the other. It gives you more stability and helps keep that obstacle from taking both feet out at once. Nothing complicated.
